The address above is a warehouse, not a retail counter. Returns need a written authorisation before they are sent — hazmat shipments cannot be dropped off unannounced.

Emergency — leaking or damaged cylinder

Do not connect it or attempt a repair. Clear the area of people and ignition sources, ventilate if you can do so safely, and call 911 if there is any immediate hazard. Once safe, call us on +1 (888) 742-0164 with your order number.

Frequently asked.

Yes for almost every cylinder we sell. Under 40 CFR Part 82, HFC and HCFC refrigerants sold for stationary air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment may only be purchased by a technician certified under EPA Section 608, by the employer of a certified technician, or by a buyer reselling to one of those parties.

Motor-vehicle air-conditioning refrigerant such as R-134a falls under Section 609. We verify your credential once, store it against your account, and every later order clears automatically.

Every virgin cylinder ships new and unused with the manufacturer valve seal intact. Nothing is decanted, blended or repackaged by us.

Reclaimed product — currently R-22 — is clearly marked as reclaimed and is processed to AHRI 700 purity by a certified reclaimer. The batch analysis travels with the cylinder.

Read the equipment nameplate. The manufacturer prints the required refrigerant and factory charge there, and that is the only answer that matters.

Refrigerants are not interchangeable. Do not treat one as a drop-in substitute for another unless the equipment manufacturer publishes an approved retrofit procedure for that exact model, and never mix two refrigerants in one circuit.

Orders that clear certification review before 2:00 PM CST on a business day leave our Fort Worth dock the same day. Everything else goes out the next business day.

Ground transit is typically 2–5 business days within the contiguous United States. Multi-cylinder orders may split across shipments and arrive on different days under separate tracking numbers.

The listing weight is the net refrigerant charge inside the cylinder. The carrier label shows gross or dimensional weight, which includes the steel cylinder, the valve, the hazmat carton and the dunnage.

A 25 lb net cylinder commonly bills near 40 lb gross. If the net weight stamped on the cylinder itself does not match your order, keep it sealed and contact us with photos.

Store upright, secured against falling, in a cool, dry, ventilated space away from direct sun, open flame, sparks and heat sources. Keep the valve cap fitted whenever the cylinder is not connected.

A2L products such as R-32 and R-454B are mildly flammable and require A2L-rated gauges, recovery equipment and leak detection. Follow the safety data sheet shipped with your order.

Do not connect it, do not attempt a repair, and do not move it into an enclosed space. Clear people from the area and eliminate ignition sources. If it is safe to do so, ventilate.

If there is any immediate hazard, call 911 first. Once the area is safe, send us your order number with photos of the carton, cylinder body, valve and label and we will replace it or refund it. Do not return a damaged cylinder without written instructions from us — damaged pressure vessels have specific shipping requirements.

Check the carrier delivery photo, then look at side doors, loading docks, garages, front desks and neighbouring units. Hazmat shipments are frequently left at a receiving area rather than a front door.

Still missing after 24 hours? Send us the order number and tracking number and we will open a carrier trace. Claims must be filed within 14 days of the scan date, so contact us promptly.

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided the cylinder is unopened, the valve seal is intact and the labels are undamaged. Contact us for a hazmat-compliant return authorisation before shipping anything back.

Opened, partially used, cracked or unlabelled cylinders cannot be returned. Once a seal is broken we have no way to certify the contents, and federal transport rules prohibit us from reselling it.

Refrigerants are sold for professional service use only. Purchases of HFC and HCFC refrigerant for stationary equipment require EPA Section 608 technician certification or a qualifying exemption; motor-vehicle air-conditioning refrigerant requires Section 609 certification. RefrigiMart verifies credentials before shipment. Always follow the equipment nameplate, the safety data sheet and all federal, state and local requirements. Product specifications are published reference values and do not replace the manufacturer's documentation.
